A reservation payment of £300 per week is required. The Reservation Form should be fully completed and returned with your payment of £300 to confirm the reservation. This reservation payment is NON refundable and your remaining balance will be due for payment no less that 16 weeks prior to your holiday commencement date.
A security deposit of £200 (ALL male groups £300) is required for each week booked in case of damage to the property, its contents or any breakage of our rules, terms and conditions. This will be due for payment with your balance payment. However, the sum reserved by this clause does not limit your liability to us. We will account to you for the security deposit and refund the monies due within two weeks of the receipt of your holiday form. The security deposit is payable with your final payment – see point 4 below. NOTE all male parties will require prior approval before any payments are made to Wills Lake France.
Prices are shown for up to 8 Occupants (Adults/Children) for the Exclusive use of the whole property and carp lake for a week on a Saturday to Saturday basis, with all electric and water bills included. We can cater for a 9th & 10th person which would be sleeping on good quality folding beds in the Mezzanine - there would be an additional charge of £150.00 per person per week for the 9th & 10th person (Adult or Child).
Yes – The balance of the holiday, including the security deposit, must be paid in full at least 16 weeks before commencement of your trip into the same account. If the balance due is not received 16 weeks before the date of the start of your holiday, we will deem the booking as cancelled and the week will be released again for another party to reserve. When we receive the balance of the holiday we will send you confirmation of payment received and send you a full welcome pack both via email and post, which will include the details of how to find the property and useful information.
Well behaved dogs may be allowed by prior agreement – under NO circumstances should a dog be allowed on the beds or in the pool.
This is a NO-SMOKING villa. Please do not smoke inside the Villa – IF YOU DO, YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.
Yes, wi-fi is included and the password is in the house.
As Wills Lake France is a private lake for your sole use, there is no legal requirement for you to purchase a French Fishing Licence. If you plan on fishing elsewhere, please see our THINGS TO DO page that will give you advice on what & where to purchase a Public Fishing Licence.
Although the property is in an isolated setting, surrounded by trees, fields and hills you are still within easy reach of shops and the main roads.
If you feel you need to venture out, there are lots of things to do. No doubt you will visit the local supermarket for your food and drink shop, but a little further you will find the local towns of Bessines-sur-Gartemp (5 minutes drive), La Souterraine (20 minutes drive) and Bellac (30 minutes drive). Both Bessines and Bellac are beautiful unspoilt traditional French Villages, where you will find the mouth watering patisserie shops, chemists, tabacconist and cafes. La Souterraine being the larger of the three towns has all the amenities you require, which include cafes, restaurants, bars and larger shops for a little retail therapy. Why not take a trip to Limoges (30 minutes drive), it is a major city with lots of tourist spots to visit, things for the children to do and local food and drink markets/sellers.
Golf de la Porcelaine is an 18 hole golf course, providing plenty of challenges with a multitude of obstacles: woods, streams, water hazards. A superb practice area and putting green where you can work on your golf skills.
The Lake (Lac Saint Pardoux) covers an area of over 1 square mile and is set in a landscape of great beauty. Around the lake you can do: windsurfing, sailing (with your own equipment), bathing on supervised beaches, hiking along footpaths, mountain biking, fishing for under 16 year olds are available.
